BARCLAYS RISE DEMO DAY
In March 2025, Foundation Ventures partnered with Web3 Club to host “VCs & Founders: Funding the Future of AI and Blockchain” at Barclays Rise London, bringing together nearly 150 founders, developers, and investors.
The evening featured dynamic startup pitches, live voting awards, and an expert investor panel. The panel included Dan Hibell (Ex-YGG Investments), Dan Ballin (Ideas Crucible, $1B+ fundraising experience), Denis Aksenov (Consensys Mesh), Musaddik Ahmed (Fabric Ventures), Debodun Osekita (Ex-Goldman Sachs, Stock Pickers Academy) and Eda Taskin (Tenity).
Foundation Ventures played a central role in shaping the agenda, curating this panel of top-tier investors, and driving connections that enabled founders to secure valuable feedback, visibility, and relationships. The outcome was a high-energy platform that not only amplified ICP ecosystem projects but also positioned Foundation Ventures as a bridge between Web3 innovation and institutional capital.
As an added highlight, the winning founder received a $10,000 media grant from the CoinTelegraph Acceleration team, providing a powerful boost in visibility and credibility across the global Web3 community. This prize underscored the event’s commitment to not only fostering capital access but also empowering startups with the media reach needed to accelerate their growth.
